The 1st Workshop of ATHENA project has been successfully accomplished in line to the timeline of the project. ATHENA project meeting took place on Friday 8/4/2016. All consortium partners were present, as well as the members of the External Advisory Committee of the project and the Quality Assurance team.
Dr Nili Mandelblit (Director of Space, Aeronautics, Transport, Nano- Materials- Production Israel –ISERD; Israel-Europe R&D Directorate; representative of HORIZON 2020) as well Daniel Barok (Adviser for International Collaboration at Israel Space Agency) participated in the RSCY2016 conference and were informed about ATHENA project.
The ATHENA workshop entitle ‘Copernicus contribution to Cultural Heritage’ took place on the 7th April during the RSCY 2016 conference. It was an one day general introduction to the European Copernicus Earth Observation program and put specific focus on the topics of the ATHENA project.
